A bit of background on me - I run a business of which I am a material shareholder, have some assets to manage and pensions and found I was spending a lot of time managing my assets and not getting great returns. Also that my family had been caught in the St James's Place trap of paying fees for terrible advice and poor performance with no exit route. Matt from Altor has been advising me for the past 10 years or so. His advice is thoughtful and has created meaningful savings for me in my financial costs. He had to work creatively and persevere for many years to extract our family from St James's Place - this was really not straightforward.
