Helping You Pay What You Owe
Before we go into the ways to avoid tax, let’s look at how to pay what you owe.
Most of our clients are required by HMRC to complete a tax return. If they want to complete a tax return themselves with some help from us, we use software that can complete the tax return without having to login to the government gateway to do it (if HMRC invested in their own website this wouldn’t be necessary). Altor has a dual login with our clients, and we can enter the tax data from cash and investments that we are responsible for, leaving the client to enter the rest.
Where our clients have more complex tax returns, we refer to a range of accountants that we have worked with for years. Where our clients already have an accountancy relationship, we will get to know and work with them. In both cases we will automatically send the cash and investment tax reports to these accountants each year.
Online tax return software and liaison with tax professionals is available to Altor clients in our Core Service.
